Can TogetherLens send the text message for me?

No. This tool opens your phone's text-message composer after you tap the button. You choose the recipient and press send yourself; TogetherLens never reads contacts, stores phone numbers, or sends messages.

Does this work when people use different messaging apps?

It opens the device's standard SMS composer, so it does not require a shared group-chat app. Your phone and carrier decide which messaging app handles the draft.

What should I ask people to send for a group photo?

Ask for one recent portrait near eye level in soft light, explain the intended use, and make participation optional. A non-response is not consent.
