Family photo poses for 6

Six people.
Every face.

Build two uneven rows, give each face a window, then add one small shared move.

01 Start with two rows

Order without a stiff lineup.

Place three people behind and three in front. Offset every front face so no one disappears behind a head.

CUEFind the next face above you, then open one shoulder toward the center.

02 Make a height ladder

Give the frame clear windows.

Use steps, a chair, or one seated person to create at least three face heights. Keep the outer anchors turned in.

CHECKScan left to right, then check the back row one more time.

03 Close the pocket

Fix the smallest gap first.

Put a connected pair at each edge and make a four-person pocket between them. Angle shoulders toward the middle.

TRYLean toward the person you came with instead of lining up to the camera.

04 Use one diagonal

Give a narrow frame some rhythm.

Build a gentle low-to-high line. Pass one glance, hand, or shoulder connection along it.

CUEPass the look to the next person, then pause before anyone resets.

05 Finish with movement

Three steps beat six instructions.

Split into two loose trios, walk toward one point, and stop when the front person turns back to the group.

KEEPThe final frame when the expression arrives, not when the pose looks perfect.

The practical next step

Save the shape, then make the missing photo.

Use the six-person guide and planner first. When everyone is ready, TogetherLens can bring separate, permissioned portraits into one clearly labelled scene for review.
